This is also a great option for those wanting to meet a new stylist and calm any nerves before setting your appointment. We want you to book your appointment with confidence!

While multiple shades may be used, this is a single-process application and differs from dimensional services. This service comes with a backbar treatment prescribed for your hair needs at the appointment.

Treatments
DEEP CLEANSING / CHELATING TREATMENT $--
We have many brands to choose from but this treatment can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. This treatment is great for those that have hard water or do a lot of swimming. The treatments draw out the minerals from our water that can turn our hair unwanted colors and cause damage to the hair. This treatment typically has to sit under heat for at least 20 minutes. Depending on the hair is how long we let it sit. We follow up with thoroughly washing out impurities and treatment and follow up with a moisturizing treatment to help put back in the moisture and protein after stripping the hair of unwanted minerals. This treatment does not typically effect hair color but we have seen it cause color to fade so we recommend before coloring services.
MOISTURIZING & PROTEIN TREATMENTS $20-$50

We are an unbranded salon and do not accredit our hair or skills to any one brand. That is why when speaking of treatments we teach in guests moisture/protein/lipids and not by brand. We offer many top of the line treatments that protect or boost the hair the price ranges from $20-$50 currently for extra treatment to the hair. We have treatments that add no more time to service and can help with protein and moisture and we also have treatments that take up to 30 minutes. Chat with your service provider about the options that are best for you. Remember your hair is uniquely yours so the more communication we have the better we can set you up!
COLOR REMOVING TREATMENTS $--
It’s not what you think. Once the hair is colored it is changed at a molecular level until it is cut off of hair. But this treatment is for those maybe wanting to go a little lighter. It will 99.9% of the time expose what we as hairstylist call unlying pigment. Which is a “warm” tone to the eye. We use this treatment strategically but try not to over sell or make people think it will help grow out their color. This service is most often used in a corrective coloring situation.

Why do I see a range on the prices for different services?
We are a Teaching Salon
First, we are proudly a teaching salon! Part of Assembly's vision for raising the bar for salons is to grow their stylists. Our founder, Emily, has a high bar of excellence and a heart for teaching. We want to be a space where stylists can come to grow, learn, and inspire each other. All of our hired stylists are evaluated and promoted based on experience and skill. Therefor, we are able to provide options for various price points relative to a stylist's growing career without compromising Assembly quality.
Our Salon Structure
Secondly, Assembly is a hybrid independent and employee-based hair salon in Cincinnati. This means that some of our independent stylists set their own prices, so as far as pricing goes, it's up to them! We do make sure that their skill set and pricing reflect the standards of Assembly, so you may notice a lot of overlap in pricing.
Specialties for Stylists
Finally, specialties! As with anything, you'll naturally excel in and enjoy specific parts/services of a larger industry. We are proud to have and host stylists with specialties ranging all across hair (hair cutting, dimensional brunettes, blending, color/color correction, and styling).
We are so proud to host such a breadth of beginner, experienced, and specialized stylists in one collaborative space. We believe it makes us better, and better for you!
FAQs
Yes! If the quiz recommended a Full Dimensional Service you should book that. Partial/Full relates to the amount of product and time we will spend on your service. If you answered with having dense or long hair we typically recommend booking the Full instead of the Partial because even if you are looking for subtle dimension it can still end up taking a lot of product + time to do so. If you don't end up fulfilling the criteria for a Full Dimensional Service, we won't charge you for it! We would rather get you scheduled in with plenty of time to complete your desired service than be cut short or rushed on time.
If your quiz resulted in a Full Dimensional Service + All Over Color, or a service that would fall under a full bleach out or color correction, we do not have public booking on these services. We do this because these services require either extra time that needs to be accounted for in booking and can vary between desired looks and starting points. We are also an integrity based hair salon that priorities the long-term health of your hair. We want to talk about it, and create a game plan that is good for you, your hair, and your budget! If you book one of our public services online looking for one of the services listed above, we may not be able to begin or complete your service. Contact us here to get started!
If in need of a reschedule or cancellation please do so in as much advance as possible. If unfortunately something does pop up last minute, we require at least 24 hours notice. If cancelled less than 24 hours before scheduled appointment there is a 50% of service scheduled fee.
