I’m Maria! My journey in hair started after I had graduated college in 2020. I had always been drawn to cosmetology, and at that time I was working in makeup retail. Growing up, I was raised in my mom and grandmother’s flower shop, so small business was comfortable to me. After working in different kinds of sales positions, I knew I wanted a more creative job where I could interact with people in a more connected kind of way. I began to think about my hairstylist I had growing up, and felt completely inspired. So when I graduated from NKU, I started at Paul Mitchell! After cosmetology school, I joined the team at Assembly in August of 2021, which still feels totally fated. Assembly has been a gift to me. Our team is value driven, with authenticity, accountability, and education at its core. My experience here has made me grow in ways both professionally and personally that I will always be eternally grateful for! Outside of the salon, you can find me bouncing to different restaurants in Cincy or reading a book!

Hello, I'm Alice Cummins, a hairstylist at Assembly Hair and Beauty Bar since February 2023. Originally from Centerville, Ohio, I've embarked on an exciting journey by moving to Cincinnati. My fascination with hair began early on – I vividly remember getting in trouble in preschool for teaching my classmates how to braid. That spark never faded, leading me to pursue a career in hairstyling. For me, hair is more than just a profession; it's a passion. Whether it's enhancing natural highlights, a modern cut, or something completely unique, I find joy in customizing and styling hair. I particularly adore working with curly hair and am constantly eager to expand my knowledge in this area. No matter your hair type, I'd be thrilled to welcome you to my chair.
