I’m Maria! My journey in hair started after I had graduated college in 2020. I had always been drawn to cosmetology, and at that time I was working in makeup retail. Growing up, I was raised in my mom and grandmother’s flower shop, so small business was comfortable to me. After working in different kinds of sales positions, I knew I wanted a more creative job where I could interact with people in a more connected kind of way. I began to think about my hairstylist I had growing up, and felt completely inspired. So when I graduated from NKU, I started at Paul Mitchell! After cosmetology school, I joined the team at Assembly in August of 2021, which still feels totally fated. Assembly has been a gift to me. Our team is value driven, with authenticity, accountability, and education at its core. My experience here has made me grow in ways both professionally and personally that I will always be eternally grateful for! Outside of the salon, you can find me bouncing to different restaurants in Cincy or reading a book!

With 15 years of experience, I have had the pleasure of cutting and coloring hair for men and women of all styles. I am dedicated to creating a comfortable and welcoming space where clients can freely communicate their needs and we can explore their options. Understanding your unique style and story is important to me in providing a great service. I find fulfillment brightening clients days through my craft. When I’m not at work, I will certainly be with my family. I keep my hands busy by creating an oasis for us to play hard and rest easy.
